Flora B. Sweigert

Sweigert, 88, formerly of Palmyra, Lebanon County, PA, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at 2:00 PM in Maple Farms Nursing Center, Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, where she resided for nearly 7 years. Born February 3, 1918, in Reading, Berks County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Mabel L. (Wheelock) Sweigert. She was employed many years ago by Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown, and was employed as an Army Depot clerk. She was an army veteran of World War II. Flora was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Palmyra and Lebanon for many years. She was an avid genealogist. Surviving are 3 sisters, June Sweigert, Redding, CA; Hope Masker, Salem, VA; and Grace, wife of John H. Gangaway, Wyalusing, PA. Viewing Funeral Service...A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with the services beginning at 2:00 PM. Reverend David J. Berwick will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville, Lancaster County, PA.
