Hannah Gehr

Hannah Gehr, age 92, formerly of Bowmansville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Monday, March 23, 2015, at 5:20 AM in Fairmount Homes, Ephrata. Born in East Cocalico Township, a daughter of the late Stephen K. and Minnie (Garner) Hainley, her husband, Luther C. Gehr, died August 17, 1990. A member and former Sunday school teacher in the nursery department of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church, Denver, she retired after 30 years from the former C&B Trimming, Reamstown. Hannah loved eating hot dogs and enjoyed crocheting. Surviving is her daughter, Glenda J. Gehr, Bowmansville. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 26, at 10 AM in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds, with The Reverend Peter Schwabe-Fry officiating. There will be no public viewing. Rather than flowers, contributions may be sent to Sharing Fund at Fairmount Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata, PA 17522.
