Leonard Hauseman

Leonard G. Hauseman, 76, of Pikeville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Phoenixville Hospital Tower Health. Born in Boyertown, he was a son of the late Daniel M. & Sallie R. (Yoder) Hauseman. Leonard was a graduate of Oley Valley High School, class of 1964. He was the owner and operator of Hauseman's Garage in Pikeville where he serviced and repaired lawn & garden equipment. He enjoyed the friendly relationships he had built with his patrons over the years. Leonard was the unofficial mayor of Pikeville because he was always in-the-know and his shop became a gathering place for local chit-chat and he also liked to speak with a little Pennsylvania dutch. After selling his garage, Leonard spent more time in his small orchard and selling produce. He enjoyed a simple way of life. Leonard was always connected, keeping up to date with long phone calls. He enjoyed visits from his friends and family, always inquiring about his grand nieces and nephews. Leonard was a member of St. Joseph's Hill Lutheran Church in Boyertown. Leonard is survived by two nephews, Scott (Gail) Hauseman of Sinking Spring and Gary (Sandy) Hauseman of Boyertown; a niece, Joy (Thomas) Weisner of Fleetwood; eight grandnieces & nephews; and seven great grandnieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St Joseph's Hill Lutheran Church, 244 Koch Rd, Boyertown, PA 19512, or Pike Township Sportsmans Association, 860 Hill Church Rd, Oley, PA 19547.
