Anna M. Bixler

Remembering Anna with Love... Anna M. Bixler, 91, formerly of West Lawn and Bowmansville, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at 2:50 PM in Garden Spot Village , New Holland. Born in Bowmansville, she was a daughter of the late Peter S. and Carrie M. (Redcay) Good. Her husband, Howard K. Bixler, died May 26, 1988. A member of Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church , Knauers, she was a member of Alleghenyville Grange, Community Sr. Group of Mohnton, and the Young at Heart Sr. Group of Alleghenyville. Anna had worked many years ago at Harting's Bakery, Bowmansville, and at the Armel Store, Blue Ball. She was also a standholder at Kissinger's Market, Reading. Surviving is a sister, Catherine M. Youndt, New Holland, PA; a brother, Harold R., husband of Barbara S. (Smith) Good, Denver , PA ; and 12 nieces. She was also predeceased by a sister, Myrle Good, and brothers, Harvey and Ralph Good. Viewing Funeral Service... A memorial celebration of life will be held from Allegheny Lutheran Church , 1327 Alleghenyville Road , Mohnton , PA 19540 , on Saturday at 10:00 AM with her pastor, The Rev. Richard W. Chaveas, officiating. Inurnment will follow in Bowmansville Union Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the church from 9 to 10 AM.
