Barry Ressler, a devoted son, brother and valued friend, passed away of natural causes at his home on August 16, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on August 29, 1956, in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Barry was the son of the late Henry and Marguerite (Mohler) Ressler. He was predeceased by his parents.

Barry grew up in Ephrata and returned to live his adult life there, cultivating lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community. He graduated from Ephrata High School in the class of 1974. After graduation, Barry served in the US Air Force from 1974 to 1978, where his technical training laid the foundation for his career. Barry worked as a skilled electronics test technician for consumer, industrial, and defense electronics for 48 years. His expertise and diligence were valued by a series of renowned companies, including RCA, Tyco Corporation, and lately, TE Connectivity. Beyond his career, Barry's community involvement included past work with the Boy Scouts and he had been a dedicated member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Ephrata for many years.

Barry is survived by siblings, Donna Prinz, Vickie Alarie and Philip Ressler and several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be private to the family.
