Remembering Bessie with Love... Bessie H. Zimmerman, 91, formerly of Hahnstown, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 10:25 AM in the United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz, where she resided since 1996. Born in Brecknock Township , a daughter of the late William F. and Salle S. (Horting) Zimmerman, she was a member of Hahnstown United Zion Church . Employed over the years as a sewing machine operator, she worked for the former Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver , PA , and Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown. Bessie cherished her nieces and nephews and is also survived by a brother, Warren (Gladys Holsinger) Zimmerman, Denver, PA; and sisters, Irene (Clarence) Stoner, Farmersville, PA; Mabel (Irvin) Sensenig, Stevens, PA; Violet Good, Denver, PA; Marie (Alvin) Knauer, Ephrata, PA; and Jane (Abram) Burkholder, Leola, PA. She was predeceased by brothers, Chester , Lloyd and Irvin. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at 10:00 AM from Hahnstown United Zion Church , Glenwood Drive , Ephrata , PA 17522 with Pastor John Fry and Pastor John Leisey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
