Betty J. Gensemer

Remembering Betty with Love... Betty J. Gensemer, 76, of Denver , died in her residence Feb. 18, 2008. Born in Ephrata, she was a daughter of the late Leroy M. and Edith M. (Carpenter) Leed. Her husband, William G. "Bumper" Gensemer, died Nov. 16, 1985. A member of St. John 's UCC, Denver , she sang in the choir for many years, and worked for A. N. Wolf Shoe Co., Denver , and Ephrata Shoe. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Cynthia A. (McKently) Gensemer, Denver ; son-in-law, Ronald H. Morgan, Ephrata; grandchildren, Wendy (James) Carr, Amy (Lee) Burkholder and Jay W. Gensemer; and great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Christopher, Jade, Lee Jr., Sabrina and Kane. Betty was also predeceased by a daughter, Bridget Morgan, and son, Brian Gensemer. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with Rev. David R. Brumbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Annex, near Denver , PA. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in our parlor. Contributions may be sent to Hospice of Lanc.
