Betty L. Gress

Remembering Betty with Love... Betty L. Gress, age 79, of Stevens, Lancaster County, PA, died Sunday, October 24, 2010, at 10:22 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Red Run, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Irwin and Ethel S. (Whitmyer) Lorah, and was the wife of Leon S. Gress for 58 years. Of the Christian faith, Betty was a former secretary at the East Cocalico Township office, enjoyed crocheting, going to auctions, arts and crafts and was known for her decorative painting on furniture. Also surviving is a daughter, Lisa, wife of Royce Ochs, Adamstown. She was predeceased by a daughter Cynthia A. (Gress) Smith on October 14, 1985. Viewings Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29, 2010, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with Pastor Philip Groff officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Annex, Denver, PA. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening, October 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
