Brett James Simmons

Brett James Simmons, age 23, of Clay Township, Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Friday, September 26, 2014. Born in Coatesville, he was a 2009 Ephrata High School graduate and received his degree in physical education in 2014 from Harrisburg Area Community College, Lancaster & Harrisburg campuses. Brett was a banquet server with Cork & Cap Restaurant, Lancaster, and had aspirations to become a personal trainer. Keeping himself in excellent shape he enjoyed basketball, skiing, snow boarding, hiking, and was a top high school tennis player and #1 Soccer Goalie. He loved going on trips with friends to various destinations and was an avid Flyers, Titans, Spurs & Phillies fan. Surviving are his parents, James A. and Lori L. (Conover) Simmons, Ephrata; brothers, Blake A. and Erik A., at home; grandparents, Janelle Simmons, Harrisburg; and Claude Conover, Honey Brook. A celebration of Brett"s life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 3 PM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with a viewing from 1-3 PM.
