Remembering Carol with Love... Carol A. Reed, 61, of Mohnton (Alleghenyville), died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at 1:00 AM in Reading Hospital Medical Center , West Reading , following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in West Reading, Berks County , a daughter of the late Harvey J. and Verna M. (Gebhart) Good, her husband, Clifford B. Reed, died July 4, 1986. Carol was a 1964 graduate of Garden Spot High School , New Holland, and a 1968 graduate of Kutztown University , receiving her degree in Elementary Education. She was an associate at WalMart, Wyomissing, and enjoyed flower gardening and reading. Surviving is a daughter, Ann C., wife of Ralph R. Kaufman III and a son, Adam C. Reed, both of Mohnton, PA; a granddaughter, Alissa A. Kaufman; and 2 sisters, Kathryn L., wife of Stephen P. Raffensperger, Leola, PA; and Janet F., wife of David E. Best, Spencer Port, NY. Visitation Memorial Service... A memorial celebration of life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Rev. Newell W. Embley III officiating. Inurnment will follow in Bowmansville Union Cemetery . A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
