Christine J. May

Christine J. “Chrissy” May, 74, of Ephrata, passed away on August 24, 2025, at Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on June 22, 1951, in Wilkes Barre, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Christine (Kultys) Ference, and the loving wife of Dennis J. May for almost 32 years, endearing her with many years of love and companionship, and the loving nickname of “Blondie”.

Chrissy was raised in Wilkes Barre, where she graduated high school in 1969. Christine dedicated her life to caring for her family, embodying warmth and love in every aspect of her role as a mother and grandmother. Christine was known for her infectious laughter and radiant smile, qualities that endearing her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She held a deep passion for crocheting, often creating beautiful blankets and delicate doilies that showcased her creativity and skill. Her love for gardening was evident in her flourishing flower beds, which brought beauty and joy to her surroundings. Chrissy enjoyed riding motorcycles, embracing a spirit of adventure that was synonymous with her joyful nature. A collector at heart, Chrissy found solace and joy in her collection of angel figurines, each holding a special place in her home and her heart. She was a true friend to many, always sharing kindness and laughter, and giggling at the little joys in life. As we remember Christine J. May, we celebrate her life, her kindness, and the indelible mark she left on her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Along with her husband, Dennis, Chrissy is survived by her two sons, Randy and Keith Biddison, and her stepson, Darrell May; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Jean Troy.
