Sweigart, 71, of 259 North Reamstown Road , Denver , ( East Cocalico Township ), Lancaster County , died in his residence Tuesday, November 22, 2005, under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. His death followed a 4 month illness. Born August 4, 1934, in Reamstown, Lancaster County , he was a son of the late Leroy L. and Lillian H. (Huyard) Sweigart. His wife, Ellen J. (Strickler) Sweigart, died July 3, 2004. He was employed by Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown. A member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church , Swartzville, he was a member of Adamstown Rod Gun Club, Cocalico Sportsman Association, Denver , and enjoyed trap shooting. Surviving are 2 daughters, Brenda L. Morehouse, Newville, PA; and Linda F., wife of Kevin R. Fry, Stevens, PA; 4 grandchildren; a sister, Helen E. (Sweigart) Martin, Ephrata, PA; and 2 brothers, Wesley, husband of Hazel V. (Weinhold) Sweigart, Denver, PA; and William L., husband of Cheryl (Fasnacht) Sweigart, Reamstown, PA; Viewing Funeral Service...Services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005, at 11:00 AM with The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz and The Rev. Surj Paul officiating in Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 North Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA 17567. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , East Cocalico Township .
