David L. Ulrich, affectionately known as Dave, passed away peacefully at his home on January 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife and son. Born on July 15, 1955, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Dave was a son of the late Clayton and Eva (Lehn) Ulrich, and the loving husband of 47 years to Sharon (Bouder) Ulrich.

Dave dedicated an impressive 41 years of his life to Dart Container in Leola, serving diligently as a maintenance mechanic until his well-deserved retirement in 2021. His hard-working nature and family-oriented personality were hallmarks of his character, traits that he carried into all aspects of his life. In addition to his commitments in his professional life, Dave found joy in wood carving and expressed a remarkable creativity through this hobby. He also had a passion for metal detecting and archery, activities that sparked his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. Dave was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who embraced life with a dedication that resonated deeply with everyone who knew him. He cherished every moment spent with his family, creating lasting memories that will be held dearly in the hearts of those he leaves behind. David will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, hardworking ethos, and the profound love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon (Bouder) Ulrich; son, Davis L. Ulrich; two grandsons, Derrick and Devin Ulrich; his brothers, John Ulrich and Richard (Mary) Ulrich; and the mother of his grandsons, Tiffany Kaiser. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Eva (Lehn) Ulrich, as well as his sister, Patricia K. Ulrich, and his brother, Donald J. Ulrich.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held on January 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Gravenor Sipler Funeral Home and Cremation Centre; 100 W. Main Street, Ephrata, PA 17522.
