Remembering Delores with Love... Delores M. Sweigart, age 74, of Stevens, Lancaster County , PA , died at home Monday, October 10, 2011. Born in Newmanstown , Lebanon County, a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Basom) Knier, her husband, Gerald "Chick" Sweigart, died March 6, 1993. A homemaker most of her life, she had worked at area textile factories. Delores loved cooking and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and reading. Surviving is a daughter, Karen S. (Larry G.) Simmons, at home; sons, Russell J. Sweigart, companion of Roxanne Miller, Shillington; and Michael Sweigart, Ephrata; 4 grandsons; a great-grandson; sisters, Carol Bohn, Pauletta Gift and Esther Knier; and brothers, James and Theodore Knier. Service Information... Graveside services will be held Monday, October 17, at 10 AM from Memory Gardens Memorial Park , 319 Wabash Road , Ephrata , PA 17522 . There will be no viewing.
