Donald L. Long, 72, of West Reading, passed away on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehab Center.

Donald was born in Talmage, PA to Oliver A. Long and Bettie (Leisey) Long on September 2nd, 1953, and was also the loving husband of Michele E. (Livingood) Long for 31 years. He attended Ephrata High School. Donald worked as a soler and stitcher for Eby Shoe Factory, spent 7 years at Skips Cutting in New Holland, and was most recently employed by American Dyeing and Finishing in Ephrata. Donald enjoyed deer hunting for 25 years.

Preceding Donald in death in addition to his parents are his twin brother, Ronald Long; and two brothers, Terry L. Long and Larry D. Long.

Surviving Donald are his three stepsons, Glenn Moyer Jr., Robert Moyer, and Michael Moyer; his brother, Barry Long, husband of Rita (Ludwig) Long of Ephrata; numerous step grandchildren; a step great-grandchild; brother-in-law, Kevin Ruth; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 19th at Gravenor Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 100 West Main Street, Ephrata, PA. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 PM with a Service at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, E. Cocalico Twp., PA.
