Dorothy B. Leed, age 96, of East Cocalico Township, Denver, Lancaster County, PA, died Tuesdeay, March 18, 2014, in Ephrata Community Hospital, Ephrata, PA. Born in Denver, a daughter of the late Martin and Ellen (Border) Firestone, her husband, R. Warren Leed, died July 26, 1989. A member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Denver, she worked for F&M Hat Company, Denver, and as housekeeper for Haskell Roberts, MD, Denver. Dorothy cherished her family and loved animals and gardening. Surviving is a son, Barry L., married to Linda (Texter) Leed, Ephrata; grandchildren, Debra Wolf, Kevin Leed & Kim Willis; great-grandchildren, Mason, Heather, Aspen, Caidyn, Kennedy, Madison, Brennan, Clark & Michael; great-great-grandchildren, Damion, Aston, Edwin & Warren; and brother, Richard Firestone, Denver. She was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Y. Dickersheid and siblings, Eugene, Robert, Benjamin, Pauline, Ray & Martin Luther Firestone. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with her pastor, The Rev. David R. Brumbaugh, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery Annex, Denver, PA. The viewings will be Friday from 6-8 PM and immediately prior to the service Saturday.
