Remembering Dorothy with Love... Dorothy E. Reese, 87, Ephrata, died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 9:45 AM in Ephrata Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in East Cocalico Township , a daughter of the late Herbert K. and Ellen N. (Echternacht) Roth, her husband, Octavius "Bloogie" Reese, died November 2, 1978. A graduate of East Cocalico High School , she worked for Rosenau / Ephrata Apparel for many years. Dorothy was a member of Ephrata Church of the Nazarene and was an avid quilter. Surviving is a daughter, Shelby J., wife of Paul Mohler, Jr., Ephrata, PA; sons, Ronald E., husband of Doris Reese, Akron, PA; Thomas M., husband of Elizabeth Reese, Womelsdorf, PA; and David D. Reese, Ephrata, PA; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Noreen, wife of Rev. Howard Grantz, Bradenton, FL; Blanche Roth, Sweetwater, OR; and brothers, Franklin Roth, Port Charlotte, FL; and Robert Roth, Reamstown, PA. She was also predeceased by a sister, Nellie Bixler, and a brother, Arthur Roth. Viewings Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008, at 10:00 AM in Ephrata Church of the Nazarene, 110 Durlach Road , Ephrata , PA 17522 , with Dr. B. W. Hambrick officiating. Burial in Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery , Ephrata , PA. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown, and at the church Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
