Edith L. Pierce

Remembering Edith with love... Edith L. Pierce, 94, formerly of Reinholds, Lancaster County, died Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 PM in the Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, Lancaster County, where she resided for the past year. Born in Adamstown, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel M. and Ida E. (Lorah) Gehman and was the widow of Arthur W. Pierce. She was a member of Hillside Church of Christ, Sinking Spring, Berks County. Surviving is a grandson, Arthur A., Terre Hill, Lancaster County; 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Earl Gehman, Columbia, Lancaster County. A son, Arthur H. Pierce, Jr., preceded her in death. Viewing Services... Edith's viewing will be held on Friday, February 7, 2003, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM from our parlors. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM with her pastor, The Reverend W. Sheldon Lee, officiating. Following the funeral service, burial will take place in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds, Lancaster County, PA.
