Edward J. Barz

Remembering Ed with Love... Edward J. Barz, 88, of 101F Denver Road , Denver , died Sunday, October 1, 2006, at 5:20 PM in Maple Farms Nursing Center , Akron . Born October 2, 1917, in Reading , he was a son of the late Edward and Alma (Sigmond) Barz, and was the husband of Mary E. (Bealer) Barz for 65 years. A 1936 Wilson High School graduate, he worked for over 30 years as a molder for Textile Machine Works, Wyomissing. Ed was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Nancy L., wife of Charles R. Ebersole, Mohnton , PA ; a son, Larry E., husband of Deborah Barz, Jacksonville , FL ; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Isabelle Gablonski. Memorial Service... Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2006, at 2:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown, with The Rev. Elmer B.
