Eleanor Whitaker

Remembering Eleanor with Love... Eleanor E. Whitaker, age 89, of Reamstown, Lancaster County, PA, died peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Born in Reading , Berks County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph B. and Helen E. (Miller) McCallicher. Retiring in 1986, she worked 34 years at the former RCA Plant, Lancaster. A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed bingo, cards, time with family & friends and her cats. Surviving are her sons, David A. (Mary Jo Dewey) Whitaker, Delton , MI ; and James H. (Brenda L. Mays) Whitaker, Adamstown; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters; and a sister, Mildred M., widow of Jack D. Krick, Adamstown. Eleanor was predeceased by her longtime companion, Adam P. Jaznach; a grandson, Kurt M. Whitaker; and great-grandson, Dale D. Farr.
