Elisabeth H. Lesher

Remembering Elisabeth... Elisabeth H. Lesher, 83, of Spring Township , Berks County , died Thursday morning at 11:40 AM in ManorCare of Sinking Spring, Berks County , where she resided since June 2, 2004. Born in Wyomissing, Berks County , she was a daughter of the late Otto and Flora Hedwig (Unger) Christen. Her husband, John E. Lesher, died September 6, 1998. She had been a member of St. Paul 's Evangelical Lutheran Church , Adamstown, for many years. Elisabeth was an avid lover of animals of all kinds. Surviving is a son, Jesse Alan, married to Kathleen D. (Fink) Lesher, Sinking Spring , PA ; 2 granddaughters; and a sister, Evelyn (Christen) Groomer, Wasilla , Alaska . She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Christen. Viewing Service A viewing will be held on Monday, August 16, 2004, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM from our parlors. The service celebrating Elisabeth's life will begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Wyomissing Cemetery, Cumru Township, Berks County, PA.
