Ella Kathryn Felker, 94, of Ephrata Manor, passed away Friday January 31, 2025. Born in Schoeneck, Lancaster Co, Ella was the daughter of the late Claude Calvin & Kathryn (Weaver) Kramer and the loving wife of Harry F. Felker Jr. with whom she shared 50 years of marriage before he passed in 2000.
Ella loved her family and devoted her life to their care and needs. She is known for her famous chicken pot pie. She enjoyed watching the Phillies. She was employed for many years at Moyers in Ephrata. Faith was important to Ella, and she was a member of Mellingers Lutheran Church in Schoeneck.
Ella is survived by three children, Deb Brantley (Stuart) of Elizabethtown, Darryl Felker of Stevens, and Patricia Faus (late Jim) of Ephrata; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Lou Shirk of Schoeneck and Claudia Firestine of Coal Twp. In addition to her husband, Ella was predeceased by three sisters, Betty Jane Carpenter, Arlene Ruth Kramer, and Della M. Stoyer; and three brothers, Claude J. Kramer, Henry P. Kramer, and Lester Kramer.
A viewing will be held at Mellingers Lutheran Church, 80 Gockley Rd., Stevens, on Fri., Feb. 7 from 1 to 2 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 2p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
