Remembering Ellen with love... Ellen M. Carles, 75, formerly of 146 Park Street, Stevens, Lancaster County, died Wednesday morning, May 5, 2004, at 7:19 AM in the Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, where she resided since April 12, 2004. Born in Reamstown, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Paul R. and Maggie M. (Beck) Ansel, and was the widow of Millard Addison Carles who died September 13, 1971. She was a member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Denver. Ellen had been employed several years ago by Hope Hosiery Mill of both Reamstown and Adamstown, Lancaster County. She had been a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Adamstown VFW. Surviving is a daughter, Judy Elaine, married to Clarence Rutt, Jr., Stevens; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a sister, Carrie R. Buohl, Ephrata, PA. Viewing Service A viewing will be held on Friday, May 7th 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM from our parlors. The service celebrating Ellen's life will be held on Saturday morning, May 8th, 2004, at 10:00 AM with The Reverend Joyce A. Seip officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville, Lancaster County, PA.
