Evelyn L. Gebhart

Remembering Evelyn with Love... Evelyn L. Gebhart, 86, formerly of Denver , died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at 9:45 AM in Ephrata Manor where she resided the past two years. Born in Shillington, Berks County , she was a daughter of the late John C. and Andelia (Tothero) Kauffman. Her husband, Raymond E. Gebhart, died November 15, 1997. A 1940 graduate of Shillington High School , she retired in 1990 after 30 years with CB Trimming, Reamstown. Evelyn was a charter member of Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church , Denver , and belonged to the Bowmansville Golden Agers. Surviving are daughters, Barbara L. (James) Travis, Casselberry , FL ; and Elaine R. Hart, Winter Springs , FL ; 4 granddaughters; and 8 great-grandchildren. A son, Karl R. Gebhart, and brother, John L. Kauffman, also preceded her in death. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with The Rev. William Cluley officiating. Burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville, PA. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
