Remembering Franklin with Love... Franklin E. Kutz, age 87, of West Cocalico Township, Denver , Lancaster County, PA, died in his home on Palm Sunday, April 1, 2012. Born in Reamstown, a son of the late B. Frank and Katie M. (Zimmerman) Kutz, he was the husband of Kathryn G. (Brossman) Kutz for 67 years. A graduate of East Cocalico Vocational School and Stevens Trade School , he served in the South Pacific & European Theatres with the Navy in WWII. Franklin was a retired machinist with the former RCA, Lancaster, PA. A member of Trinity United Methodist Church , Denver , he was also a life member of Adamstown VFW, loved building model steam engines, family trips to their Potter County cabin and cherished his dogs, "Prince" & "Winnie". Also surviving are daughters, Linda E. wife of Barry L. Whitcraft, Lititz; Desiree L. Bitting, Denver ; and Cindy A. Kutz, Bowmansville; a son, Greg E. husband of Christina Kutz, Port Allegany; and grandchildren, Jason, Nathan, Katie & Josh. Service Information... Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, at 10 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with his pastor, The Rev. D. Michael Roney, officiating. Burial with military honors in Memory Gardens Memorial Park , Ephrata. The viewing will be Wednesday 6-8 pm.
