Remembering Gail with Love and a Smile... Gail B. Good, 61, of Ephrata, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 8:05 AM in Essa Flory Hospice Center , East Hempfield Township , following a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. Born in Jersey City , NJ , at daughter of the late James D. and Jean A. (Garrison) Barlow, her husband, Robert H. Good, died July 24, 1995. Gail was a 1965 graduate of Union High School , Union , NJ , and received her Associate of Science Degree in 1994 from Alvernia College , Reading , PA. A member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata, she was a registered nurse and was last employed as an evening supervisor by Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center , Narvon , PA , and had worked earlier at Ephrata Community Hospital as a nurse in the transitional care unit. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines in NJ, and enjoyed knitting, reading and traveling. Surviving is a daughter, Heather (Higgins), wife of Kurt Shearer, Sinking Spring , PA ; 2 sons, J. Sean Higgins, Metuchen, NJ; and Ryan, husband of Betsy (Wilkes) Higgins, Shrewsbury, NJ; a grandson, Wilkes James Higgins; 2 sisters, Adele M. Barlow, Riverview, FL; and Jean E., wife of Peter M. Bodnar, Estero, FL; and her former husband, Edward T. Higgins, Monmouth Beach, NJ. Viewing Funeral Service... A Christian Prayer service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008, at 7:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown. A viewing will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. In accordance with Gail's wishes she will be cremated following the viewing and services.
