Remembering "Sue" with Love... Gertrude A. "Sue" Hoch, age 88, of Ephrata Manor, Ephrata, Lancaster County, PA, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Lancaster General Hospital . Born in Stratford , Connecticut, a daughter of the late Alfred and Gertrude (Bowers) Priestley, her husband, Walter W. Hoch, died January 26, 2010. A member of Peace United Church of Christ, Denver , PA, she was previously an active member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Stratford , CT. "Sue" was involved in all levels with Girl Scouts of America. Surviving is a daughter, Jane E. ( Edmond ) Frost, Virginia Beach , VA ; and a son, Rev. William E. (Janis K.) Hoch, Stevens; granddaughters, Jessica and Pamela; and a great-grandson, Braydon. She was predeceased by brothers, Frederick, Kenneth and Edward Priestley. Service Information... Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012, at 4:00 pm in the Donecker Chapel of Ephrata Manor, 99 Bethany Road , Ephrata , PA 17522 , with Chaplain Sally Maxwell officiating. The viewing will be from 2 to 4 pm. Private interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County, PA.
