Glenn L. Eidemiller, 87, formerly of Reamstown, passed away early Easter Sunday morning, April 5, 2026 at Keystone Villa, Ephrata, where he currently resided. Born and raised in Terre Hill, he was a 1956 graduate of Terre Hill High School. Glenn was married 66 years to his beloved wife, Faith Marie (Deibler) Eidemiller, and was the son of the late William H. and Edna M. (Keith) Eidemiller.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Glenn worked for ACME Markets for 44 years and was well known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He was a faithful member of the East Cocalico Lions Club since 1965 and belonged to the Cocalico Valley Historical Society. Glenn had a deep Christian faith and exemplified Christ in his daily journey. He was a member of Reformed Presbyterian Church in Ephrata. Glenn contributed to research for the National Ataxia Foundation as he bravely faced the progressive disease for many years. He enjoyed bike riding, spending time with family and friends, public auctions, coins, and antiques—especially his unique collection of ACME memorabilia—and had a lifelong love of music of all kinds. Glenn will be remembered for his gentle and kind nature, constant demonstration of unconditional love, his contagious sense of humor, and his commitment to others. Glenn’s life impacted many.
In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by two children, Marsha Petery (Wesley) of Reinholds and Mark Eidemiller of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Marissa and Madison Petery; and nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by siblings, Richard H., Edgar H., and Virginia M. (Windham) Eidemiller.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 20th from 10:00 – 11:00 am, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at the Reformed Presbyterian Church, 21 E Locust St, Ephrata. Glenn’s final resting place is at Memory Gardens, Ephrata.
Special thanks to staff at Keystone Villa and Grane Hospice for their kindness and care with dignity during Glenn’s hardest months. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the National Ataxia Foundation, www.ataxia.org/donate/ (763) 553-0020 or to Reformed Presbyterian Church (RPC), Ephrata.
