Grace E. Seifrit

Grace E. Seifrit, age 97, formerly of Fivepointville, Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Friday, September 29, 2017, at 2:40 AM in Ephrata Manor, Ephrata Township, PA. Born in Fivepointville, a daughter of the late Harry T. and Lillie S. (Good) Brendle, she was a member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Swartzville, and had worked many years ago at Ix Silk Mill, New Holland. Grace belonged to various area senior groups. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest S. Seifrit, on October 27, 1983; a son, Robert E. Seifrit; granddaughter, Amy C. Bryant; sisters: Estella Brendle Mary Flory; and brothers: Howard, John, Jerry, Lester, Earl Eugene Brendle. Surviving are herdaughter, Diane L. Seifrit, Denver; sons, Lamar E., married to Nancy (Steffy) Seifrit, Denver; William P., married to Ann (Cole) Seifrit, Narvon; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clair, married to Alverta (Carvell) Brendle, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, at 11 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with The Rev. Peter Schwabe-Fry officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-11 AM. Burial will be in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville. Omit flowers; contributions remembering Grace may be sent to Muddy Creek Lutheran Church, 11 S. Muddy Creek Rd., Denver, PA 17517.
