H. Gene Frankhouser

Remembering Gene with Love... H. Gene Frankhouser, age 71, of Denver , Lancaster County, PA, died November 13, 2010, in Reading Hospital Medical Center , West Reading , Berks County, PA, from injuries sustained in a fall at home. Born in Brecknock Township , Lancaster County , he was a son of the late Henry S. and Alma M. (Lausch) Frankhouser, and married to Sharon E. (Gruber) Frankhouser for 50 years. A member and former councilman of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , he worked 46 years for Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown, PA. Gene loved hunting and wire recycling. Also surviving is a son, Rick G. Frankhouser, Denver , PA; a daughter, Cindy M. Frankhouser, at home; grandchildren, Chad (Krystal Mellinger) Fankhouser, Denver, PA; and Krista (Josh) Guldin, Robesonia, PA; and a great-grandson, Xander. He was predeceased by a brother, Floyd R. Frankhouser, in 1995. Viewings Funeral Service... Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 10:00 am from Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , 11 S. Muddy Creek Rd. , Denver , PA 17517 , with The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz officiating. Burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, and prior to the church service Wednesday.
