Herbert B. "HB" Lowe, III, 71, of Ephrata, PA, passed away at The Gardens at Stevens on May 6, 2019.HB was born in West Jefferson, NC on February 26, 1948, to the late Herbert B. Lowe, Jr. and the late Hazel (Gentry) Lowe.HB grew up in Kirkwood, PA and was a 1966 graduate of Solanco High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Navy. After the Navy, HB worked as a mechanic at the Overlook Golf Course and Host Farm Resort. He enjoyed riding his Harley, watching NASCAR and was talented in making stained glass.Surviving in addition to his loving wife Iris Marie (Harrison) are a son Robert Bachman, daughter Laurie (Rob) Seidle, brother John (JoAnn) Lowe, sister Hazel Jean (Terry) Osborne, step-children, Romina (Scott) McEllhenney and Tom Harrison. Also, five grandchildren, Sasha, Damien, Vincent, Hannah, and Emma.Friends are invited to Gravenor Home for Funerals, 100 W. Main Street, Ephrata, PA, on Thursday, May 9, 2019, for visitation and funeral services. Visitation 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM, services at 8:45 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
