Remembering Ira with Love... Ira E. Weinhold, 80, of 412 South Reamstown Road , Ephrata, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at 10:22 AM in the emergency room of Ephrata Community Hospital . Born in East Cocalico Township , he was a son of the late Alvin E. and Martha (Musselman) Weinhold. His wife, Marguerite (Ketner) Weinhold, died August 14, 2001. A member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church , Denver , he was Navy veteran of World War II having received the American Theatre Ribbon and Victory Medal. A bridge builder by trade, he worked for J. Robert Brazley, Pottsville ; J. C. Hale Company, Lancaster; and Slusser Brothers, Hazelton. He was last employed by Crest Trucking, Bowmansville, and ran a sharpening business from his home. Ira was a member of Ephrata Lodge #665 Free Accepted Masons; Scottish Rite Valleys of Lancaster Reading , Rajah Temple and the American Legion Post 0429, Ephrata. He is survived by 3 daughters, Sylvia (George) Summons, Dianne M. (John) Woodson, and Nancy A. (Patrick) McQuate; 5 sons, Richard (Bonnie) Guarino, Ira A. "Butch" (Charmayne) Weinhold, Joe W. (Bonnie) Weinhold, Bruce W. (Debbie) Weinhold, and David Trump; 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also predeceased by a daughter, Linda Ansel, son, John Weinhold, grandson, Corey Weinhold, granddaughter, Holly Broccola; brother, Clarence Weinhold, and a sister, Mary Buffenmyer. Viewing, Masonic Service Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with his pastor, The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz, officiating. Burial in Muddy Creek Cemetery , East Cocalico Township . A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with Masonic Rites at 9:00 PM by Ephrata Lodge #665 FAM. Kindly omit flowers.
