James P. Foltz

Remembering James with Love... James P. Foltz, 70, of 549 Chapel Lane , Denver (Brecknock Twp.), Lancaster County , died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at 6:07 PM in Penn State Hershey Medical Center , Derry Township , Dauphin County , where he was a patient since Friday. Born April 15, 1935, in Lancaster , he was a son of the late James and Annie (Zerbe) Foltz, and was the husband of Ruth L. (Fry) Foltz for 48 years. Foltz retired as a sales representative with Pitt Auto, Pittsburgh , and had previously been a station manager on the turnpike at Valley Forge with Gulf Oil Corporation for 20 years. He was a 1953 graduate of Wilson High School and was an Army veteran. James attended Christian Fellowship Church , New Holland, and was an avid hunter, trap shooter and outdoorsman. Also surviving is a son, James Michael, husband of Carla E. (Benham) Foltz, San Angelo , Texas ; a daughter, Susan Ruth (Foltz), wife of Martin L. Fickes, Denver , PA ; 4 grandchildren and a great-grandson. Viewing Funeral Service... A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., Reamstown, and on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 at the church. Services in celebration of Jim's life will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006, at 10:00 AM from Christian Fellowship Church , 758 Spruce Road , New Holland, PA 17557, with The Rev. Aaron W. Webb and Rev. Dr. William Finnigan officiating. Burial will follow in Terre Hill Cemetery .
