Janice A. Robinholt, 102, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at Luther Acres Nursing Home in Lititz with friends by her side. Born on November 4, 1923, and raised in Greenwood County, Kansas, Janice was a daughter of the late Hubert H. & Lela E. (Tubbs) Riley, and the loving wife to the late Sanford S. Robinholt for 44 years until his passing in 2013.

Janice graduated from high school and embarked on a career marked by steadfast commitment, initially serving as a government clerk before contributing her talents to CUCCS at Lapps Electric. A longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Leola, Janice’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Among her proudest accomplishments was co-founding the Corner of Hope Clothing Bank at Zion Lutheran Church, a charitable endeavor that exemplified her deep compassion and tireless effort to support those in need. Janice’s legacy is one of selflessness and kindness, qualities that inspired all who knew her. Her contributions to her church, family, and community will be remembered with gratitude and affection. She will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to have been part of her life.

Janice is survived by two siblings, Donna Becker and David Riley; and great-nephew, David (Lindsey) Lanson, and baby Mimi; and beloved friends, Vicki Embley & Kathy Ravegum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford S. Robinholt; her three children, Leslie Vanderfecht, Kenneth Vanderfecht, and Judith Barlow; five grandchildren; and brothers.

Services will be private to the family. Janice’s final resting place will be at Trumbauer Memorial Cemetery.
