Joseph R. Miller

Joseph R. Miller, 75, Ephrata, passed away March 11, 2016, following a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, February 1, 1941, he was a son of the late Walter and Margaret (Dempsey) Miller. Joe was a truck driver for Jade Corporation, Huntingdon Valley, PA, and enjoyed movies and music of all kinds. Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Carol S. Miller, Ephrata; sons, Josheph Miller, Jr., fiance of Gayle Faust, Ashland; and Michael, married to Patty Miller, Fleming Island, FL; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Graham and Marge Bennett, both of Philadelphia; sister-in-law, Barbara Bortz, Lancaster; and 'adopted' grandchildren, Koty and Hannah, who had a special place in his heart. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 10:30 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Pastor Dave Boudwin officiating. Joe's body was donated to science.
