Obituary

Kathleen Kilbride, 84, passed away peacefully at her home in Ephrata on April 13, 2026. Born on March 31, 1942, in Philadelphia, Kathleen was the daughter of the late William Pierce and Kathleen (Byron) Hunter, and the loving wife of Mark A. Kilbride.

A high school graduate of Mastbaum High School, Kathleen dedicated herself to the role of homemaker, pouring love and attention into raising her five daughters. Beyond her devotion to family, Kathleen found joy in artistic and crafting pursuits. She was an avid painter and worked with ceramics, demonstrating an artistic spirit that flourished alongside her daily responsibilities. Kathleen also loved engaging in needlework, including cross-stitch, knitting, and crochet, activities that reflected her patience and attention to detail. Crossword puzzles provided a stimulating pastime that she tackled with enthusiasm. Additionally, she enjoyed the thrill of discovery and the hunt for treasures at yard sales, finding delight in simple pleasures that enriched her days. Kathleen lived a life marked by nurturing her family and embracing her many creative passions. Her memory endures in the hearts of those who knew her and in the testament of her life's work as a loving mother and creative soul.

Along with her husband, Kathleen is survived by five daughters, Kimberly Kilbride, Lisa (Victor) Klimowsky, Stacy (the late Georgie) Feulner, Angela (Tom) Smith, Carolyn (David) Scheidt; nine grandchildren, Samantha, Jamie, Kerry, Christopher, Kaitlin, Jason, Alexis, Kennedy, Delaney; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda.
