Kathryn E. Martin, of Ephrata, passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 17, 1949, to Paul R. & Helen M. (Olewiler) Enfield, Kathryn was also the loving wife of Harlan M. Martin.
A graduate of Dallastown Area High School in York County, class of 1967, Kathryn pursued lifelong learning, exploring various classes to nurture her intellectual curiosity. Her professional career included a significant role as a type setter at Donnelly, where she later retired at 70 years old. Kathryn was not only respected for her career but also deeply loved as an active member of the Reamstown Church of God, where her faith played an integral role in her life. She excelled as a number one Pittsburgh Steelers fan, proudly attending games with her daughter, Crystal. Kathryn's love for reading, camping with family, and her appreciation for the mountains showcased her zest for life and adventure. Kathryn’s life with family, love, and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Crystal Martin, and her siblings, Judith A. Whitekettle and husband, Richard of Stevens, and Philip J. Enfield, Sr. and companion, Lynn Mundy of Felton; many nieces and nephews, who will carry on her memory and values with love and respect.
A viewing will take place on Tuesday, June 10th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc. 34-38 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA. followed by another viewing on Wednesday, June 11th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM at the Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz Hill Rd, Stevens, PA 17578. The graveside service will conclude the day's events at Memory Gardens in Ephrata.
