Lee Grant Asher

Remembering Lee with Love... Lee G. Asher, 67, of Adamstown, died unexpectedly at home Friday, August 15, 2008. Born in Reading , a son of the late Albert A. and Betty J. (Epler) Asher, he was the husband of Christine Anne (Brown) Asher for 36 years. A graduate of Reading High School , class of 1959, Lee retired after more than 30 years with ATT / Lucent Technologies, formerly Western Electric. He enjoyed bowling in his younger years, but more recently spent most of his time reading and using his computer. Also surviving is a son, David C. Asher, Willow Grove , PA ; and a sister, Linda A. Werner, Reinholds , PA. Memorial Celebration of Life... A celebration of life will be held from the family home, 2 Walnut Street, Adamstown, PA 19501, on Thursday, August 21, 2008, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Rather than flowers, contributions may be sent to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N. 11th St. , Reading , PA 19604 and the Salvation Army, Box 1099 , Reading , PA 19603-1099 .
