Leon H. Bixler

Remembering Leon with Love... Leon H. Bixler, age 77, of Ephrata, died Friday, July 22, 2011, in Reading Hospital Medical Center , West Reading . Born in East Cocalico Township , a son of the late Earl M. and Nellie E. (Roth) Bixler, his wife, Laberta M. ( Campbell ) Bixler, died September 6, 2000. Leon worked for Boose Aluminum Foundry, Reamstown, and E.A.R.S., Ephrata. He enjoyed fishing and cherished his pet parakeets. Surviving is his sister, Sandra E. (Lowell D.) Haws, Reinholds; sister-in-law, Marlene (Hirneisen), widow of Lester E. Bixler, York; nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Durwin, Bryan, Carnel, Benual, Alicia, Krista and John. Service Schedule... Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Rev. Melvin H. Stehr officiating. Burial in Memory Gardens Memorial Park , East Cocalico Township , PA. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
