Linda J. Walters, 81 of Ephrata PA, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of Norman Walters, and daughter of Stella Johnson and Joe Fay, all of whom preceded her in death. Born in Johnstown, PA, Linda lived a life rooted in faith, family and love.
She is survived by her sister, Judy Tomovik (Denny), and her five sons, Thomas (Viola), Scott (Annette), Craig (Marijayne), Todd (Katharine) and Corey (Deborah).
Linda was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Judy, and her granddaughter Stanna Leigh, and great-granddaughter Stanna Aurora.
She lovingly raised her boys in Clarence, PA, before she and her husband opened Norm’s Riverside in Mount Union, where they built a life filled with hard work and community connection.
Linda was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A woman of strong faith, she deeply loved the Lord and found her greatest joy in serving her family. Her happiest moments were spent hosting large family gatherings where no one ever left hungry and everyone’s favorite dish was prepared! She especially cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren creating memories that will live on for generations.
Linda will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, and boundless love she poured into her family.
A graveside service will be held on August 16, 2025 for immediate family, followed by a gathering at 4 p.m.at Yoders Family Restaurant in New Holland, PA where family and friends can come together and share cherished memories of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend.
