Lorraine A. Adair

Remembering Lorraine with Love... Lorraine A. Adair, 73, of 5 Marlin Drive , Stevens, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2007, at 8:05 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital . Born in Ephrata, a daughter of the late Adam H. and Merla (Freeman) Stewart, she was a member of Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church, Reamstown. Lorraine was a 1952 graduate of East Cocalico High School , Reamstown and was a self-employed house cleaner. She also worked many years ago at Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown. A member of the Happy Hours Club of Reamstown, she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, staying in touch with numerous pen-pals in North America and her dog, "Muffy". Surviving are a son, Brian L., husband of Kreta (Martin) Adair, Ephrata, PA; 2 daughters, Brenda J., wife of Bill D. Bixler, Adamstown, PA; and Bernice L., wife of James H. Reynolds, III, Pequea, PA; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Barbara A. Adair, predeceased her in 1973. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at 2:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown, with her pastor, The Rev. Stephen E. Hollinger, officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp Cemetery , Reinholds , PA. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 12:30 to 2:00 PM.
