Bechtelsville

Margaret A. “Maggie” Miller, formerly of Stevens, and most recently residing with her daughter, Tracy, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025. Born on June 22, 1937, in Lancaster, to the late William and Carol (Miller) Martin, and the loving wife of Raymond R. Miller Jr. for 55 years until his passing in 2016.

Maggie worked part time at Fleet Air Corporation in Ephrata and Woolworth. Throughout her time there, Maggie had the privilege of meeting many friends, creating lasting bonds that would enrich her life. She was a full-time homemaker and wife, who took immense pride in her role as a devoted mother and grandmother, earning the endearing title of "Mawmaw" among her loved ones. Known for her good humor, Maggie brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was an avid bingo dabber, finding delight in the thrill of the game, which later became the name of her beloved cat, Bingo. Additionally, she collected teddy bears and enjoyed playing cards, often surrounded by family and friends. For 14 years, Maggie and her husband, Raymond, happily embraced the "snowbird" lifestyle, traveling to Florida every winter to enjoy the warmer weather. Maggie lived a life rich with love, warmth, and laughter, embraced by family and friends throughout her years, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Maggie is survived by two daughters, Carla S. Wiest, and Tracy L. (William H.) Smith; four grandchildren, Brandon W. (Tiffani) Smith; Jeremy R. (Aisha) Smith; Jessica L. (Bryan) Roush; and Vaughn M. Wiest, along with 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Martin of Lancaster, along with many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews
