Marlene Carol Gemma, 90, of Denver, formerly of East Coventry Twp., passed away Friday, April 18, 2025. Born in Phoenixville, Marlene was a daughter of the late Harry & Elizabeth (Hartzel) Myers and the loving wife of the late Kenneth L. Adams Sr. who passed in 1972 and Anthony J. Gemma who passed in 2002.
Marlene was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, class of 1952 and worked for many years at the former Wyeth Labs in Malvern. She loved the Philadelphia Eagles, traveled to many of their games and even attended the Super Bowl in 1980. As a Philly sports fan, Marlene also enjoyed watching the Phillies. Marlene enjoyed camping, traveling to many places by RV. She enjoyed reading Christian literature, particularly Amish novels and listening to the Gathers. She loved her family, was caring and thoughtful of others.
Marlene is survived by six children, Kenneth L. Adams Jr., Gloria M. Claybaugh, Marlene F. Adams, Eleanor V. Willauer, Dale S. Adams, and Rhonda L. Maxwell; nine grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Marlene was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Harry Jr., and Joseph Myers; and four sisters, Elizabeth Plavcan, Violet Saylor, Adella Blank, Gloria Redman.
Services are private. Final resting place, Green Tree Cemetery, Oaks, Pa.
