Mary Ann Bucher

Mary Ann Bucher passed away at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community on August 3rd, 2025, just five days shy of her 95th birthday. Born in Ephrata, Mary was a daughter of the late Harold L. & Anna Mae (Kopp) Capwell, and the loving wife of the late Cloyd Bucher Jr.

Mary worked as a sewing machine operator for Hopeland Manufacturing and Dutch Maid in Ephrata. She was also a member of Coleman Memorial Chapel. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Mary Ann is survived by a sister, Martha (Capwell), wife of the late Robert R. Weitzel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn and Loraine; and three brothers, Donald, Harold, and Steve.
