Michael Leonard

Michael J. Leonard, age 56, of East Cocalico Township, Denver, Lancaster County, PA, died Monday, January 14, 2013, at 3:30 AM in his residence. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Rita M. (Wishart) Leonard, with whom he resided, and the late Walter John Leonard, who died in 2006. He was a 1974 graduate of Northeast High School, Philadelphia. Michael worked as a machinist for Baldwin Brass, Reading, PA, and was an avid train enthusiast, including model trains. Surviving in addition to his mother are sisters, Patricia, married to Keith Alesin, Mohnton, PA; and Mary, married to Richard Mikus, Denver, PA; a brother, James Leonard, Souderton, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Christian Prayer Service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013, at 2:00 pm from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, PA, followed by commendation and farewell in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, PA. A viewing will be held on Friday from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. Rather than flowers, contributions in Michael"s memory may be sent to Hospice & Community Care, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
