Michael S. "Mike" Kreitz

Remembering "Mike" with Love... Michael S. Kreitz, 57, Reamstown, died at home July 12, 2009. Born in Rapid City , South Dakota , a son of the late Stanley A. and Julie (Thompson) Kreitz, Jr., he was the husband of Susan I. (Kramer) Kreitz for 5 years. A 1971 Ephrata High School graduate, he was an army veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a welder for Ladder Towers , Akron . Mike was a Beatles fan, had a fondness for England (where he spent childhood years), and loved family trips to the beach. He will be greatly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Also surviving is a daughter, Danielle M. Kreitz, Reamstown; granddaughters, Alexandra Alivia Settle; sisters, Janice J. (Barry) Frey, Ephrata; and Barbara L. Leisey, Reinholds; a niece and 2 nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Tevin Michael Kreitz, in 2006. Private Arrangements...At Michael's request, all arrangements will be private.
