Richard Moyer

Richard H. Moyer, 88, of Denver, died Thurs., Jan. 10, 2019. He was the husband of the late Louise "Sissy" (Smith) Moyer. Born in Wernersville, he was a son of the late Charles Sr. & Mary (Harding) Moyer. Rich was a Navy veteran, lifelong butcher by trade, an avid outdoorsman and spent a lot time with the family fishing & hunting at his cabin in Centre County. Rich was a member of Dry Fork hunting camp. He played on a dart league for many years. He was a man of faith & member of Vinemont Comm. Lutheran Church. Rich will be remembered as an eternal optimist, always positive and pleasant. He is survived by four sons: Ronald L. (Patricia) Moyer of Brownstown, Ricky L. (Karen) Moyer of Ephrata, Scot A. (Lori) Moyer of Lebanon, & Steven K. (Melissa) Moyer of Centreville, VA; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; one great grandchild; six step great grandchildren; & three siblings, Betty Kramer, Charles Moyer, & Mildred Schnoke. Rich was predeceased by grandson, Jonathan Moyer & sister, Arlene Stoudt.
