Richard R. Barthold

Remembering Richard with Love... Richard R. Barthold, 74, Shillington, died May 23, 2007, in Mifflin Center . Born in Shillington, a son of the late Ray N. and Ruth E. (Wagner) Barthold, he was a 1950 graduate of Shillington High School . A corporal in the Marine Corps during the Korean War, he retired as a certified diver and bridge inspector for the State of Florida 's Department of Transportation. Ray was one of the founders of the Reading SCUBA Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Surviving is his longtime companion, Wilma Lombardo, Wyomissing; a son, Michael R. (Wendy Lebo) Heinecke, Reading ; a daughter, Debra L. (Mark) Hallacher, Shillington; and 3 grandchildren, Joseph Biondo, Jason and Sarah Hallacher. Graveside Service...
