Remembering "Bobby" with Love... Robert L. "Bobby" Newman, 66, of 574 Gehman School Road , Denver , Lancaster County , died Friday, August 17, 2007, in Lancaster General Hospital . Born in Coatesville, he was a son of the late Leonard and Mary (Gaska) Newman, and was the husband of Edith M. (Beck) Newman for 29 years on August 1st. A graduate of Coatesville High School , he was employed for 44 years by Lukens Steel, Coatesville, retiring as foreman in 2003. Bobby was a member of the Adamstown Rod Gun Club, Adamstown VFW, Fritztown and Gouglersville Fire Companies, West End Fire Co. #3, Coatesville, Reamstown Athletic Assoc., Moose Lodge #299, Lancaster , and enjoyed baseball, football, NASCAR and shuffleboard. Surviving in addition to his wife are 4 sons, Ronald Newman, Lancaster; Donald Newman, Denver ; Danny Newman, Kinzer; Robert L. Beck, Jr., Denver; 2 daughters, Lisa (David) Troutman, Leola; and Robin (Dan) Fredrickson, Reamstown; and 17 grandchildren. A son, Robert Newman, Jr., preceded him in death. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, 34-38 North Reamstown Road , Reamstown , PA 17567 with The Rev. R. Kevin Eshleman officiating. Burial in Memory Gardens , Ephrata. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
