Ronald A. Dolla

Ronald A. Dolla, age 79, of Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania, formerly of Denver, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Monday, March 16, 2015, in Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, PA. Born in Reading, a son of the late Jacob and Kathryn (Lesher) Dolla, his wife of 20 years, Susan A. (Clay) Dolla, died September 13, 2012. Ron was a professional land surveyor for over 30 years in Lancaster, Berks and surrounding counties, a Life-Member of the Society of Professional Land Surveyors and an army veteran. He enjoyed bowling, golf and loved his dog, "Nellie". Surviving is a son, Scott R. Dolla, York; daughters Stacy K. Dolla, Wilmington, DE; Suzette D. Shaak, Mt. Juliet, TN; and Shelly G. Lim, Littleton, CO; step-sons, Rodney Cook, Prineville, OR; Randall Cook, Venice, FL; and Raymond Cook, Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Shane, Ashley, Justin, Jason, Alexandra, Victoria, Daniel, Katie, Rachael, Benjamin, Leah, Samuel, Hannah, Alexander and step-sister, Pauli Busser, Ephrata. A memorial celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 21, from 1-3 PM at Heritage of Green Hills, 200 Tranquility Lane, Reading, PA 19607. Private inurnment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
